The certificate of origin is an important document in international trade that enjoys tariff preferences from the importing country, and is known as the "Paper Gold" in trade. In the first eight months of this year, Ningbo Customs issued a total of 259000 certificates of origin, involving a value of 10.83 billion US dollars. Among them, the customs issued 19000 RCEP certificates of origin, with a value of 730 million US dollars, an increase of 23.4% and 1.5% year-on-year, respectively.
The "paper gold" has enhanced the comprehensive export competitiveness of Ningbo's foreign trade enterprises, and also opened up a broader overseas market for " Excellent Products of Ningbo Enterprise".
Nowadays, more and more export enterprises are proficient in using various preferential trade agreement policies and rules such as RCEP and bilateral trade agreements

On September 13th, it was learned from Ningbo Customs that in August, the total import and export volume of Ningbo reaches 115.44 billion yuan, up 7.3% compared to the same period last year, reversing the two consecutive months of year-on-year decline since June.
Both exports and imports have achieved year-on-year growth. Among them, the export value reaches 76.94 billion yuan, up 8.4% year-on-year; The import volume reaches 38.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.1%.
Affected by the significant rebound in imports and exports in August, Ningbo achieved a total import and export volume of 842.9 billion yuan from January to August this year, with a year-on-year decrease narrowing to 1.6%.

private enterprises in China
On September 12th, “Top 500 Private Enterprises in China 2023” was released by the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce. A total of 20 Ningbo private enterprises were shortlisted, an increase of 2 compared to last year, and the number of shortlisted enterprises reached a historic high.
Among them, Youngor Group, Jintian Investment Holdings, and China-Base Ningbo Group respectively rank 46th, 61st, and 78th with operating revenue of 171.5 billion yuan, 134.569 billion yuan, and 116.077 billion yuan. The two newly added enterprises, Ningbo Zhongjin Petrochemical and Ningbo Ronbaimat Co., Ltd., respectively ranked 251st and 460th in terms of operating revenue.
