Ningbo Tightens Agricultural Products Supervision

On Aug. 12th, about 200 supervisors of agricultural products from across the country gathered in Fenghua to participate in a training session for agricultural regulation. During the session, the unique “Fenghua Mode” won wide acclaim.

In recent years, Ningbo has established a preliminary information platform monitoring the quality and safety of agricultural products in a sign of tightening agricultural control. In 2015, Fenghua was listed in the first crop of counties foregrounded for the quality and safety of their agricultural products, and other counties including Yuyao, Ninghai, Xiangshan and Zhenhai were also named model counties for product safety. The agricultural products in Ningbo continued to improve in both quality and safety. During the year, it has conducted over 5500 spot checks which showed a general 99% pass rate.

In particular, the session introduced the special mode and innovative solutions adopted by Fenghua. It’s reported that to ensure smooth operation, Fenghua channeled 1.5 million yuan every year and set up relevant systems tightening agricultural products supervision. So far, Ningbo has formed three supervision teams that respectively check the origin, monitor the process and test the products on sale.

Cheng Jingen, deputy director of Agricultural Products Quality and Safety Supervison and Qian Yongzhong, director of Research Center of Agricultural Products Standard extolled the methods and experience of Fenghua as taking the lead nationwide and worth modelling after.

Vice mayor Lin Jinguo said that Ningbo would seize the opportunity to learn from other cities in pursuit of stronger agricultural products supervision for higher safety and quality, further boosting modern agriculture

Clinic Medicine of Ningbo University enter top 1% in the global ranking of ESI

According to the latest ESC, Clinic Medicine of Ningbo University has entered top 1% in the global ranking of ESI, the 3rd university in Zhejiang following Zhejiang University and Wenzhou University. 
It the second discipline of Ningbo University among the top 1% after the engineering discipline. It indicates that two disciplines of Ningbo University has entered the world level. It is also an important achievement of the construction of provincial key university

China's first "cloud hospital" to be built in Ningbo

The on-site working meeting for Ningbo's "Cloud Hospital" was held on the afternoon of May 19, identifying the Jiangdong District, Ningbo No.1 Hospital and Ningbo No.2 Hospital as the pilots.

To promote the medical system reform and alleviate the pressure for medical resources, Ningbo takes the led to launch the "cloud hospital" trial. Different from the traditional hospitals, "cloud hospital" is a virtual online hospital. Guided by the government, the system will integrate online and offline hospitals. So far, four "cloud clinics" (on hypertension, diabetes, psychological consultation and general medicine respectively) have been put online, involving 226 contractual doctors. As a pilot, Jiangdong District will guarantee the opening of the "cloud hospital", with such goals of seeing online doctors, online medical reviews, health surveillance, and online public health enquiries

Automated distribution system launched in the outpatient pharmacy of No.1 Hospital

Currently the most advanced automated distribution system has been put into use in No.1 Hospital of Ningbo. It has not only effectively shortened the dispensary time and improved the accuracy of medication delivery, but also has strengthened the scientific management of the pharmacy for drugs. The hospital has become the first in Ningbo to use the automated distribution system in its outpatient pharmacy.
It is reported that currently the drug delivery and management have been done by the automated system in No.1 Hospital. The system has a seamless integration with the HIS system in the hospital. It will first process the prescription information issued by the clinic physicians before it automatically assorts, identifies, checks and delivers the drugs. Then upon the check of the checking pharmacists in the background counter, the drugs will be allocated to the intelligent allotment shelves. After that, the reviewing pharmacists will deliver the drugs rapidly and accurately after further check, and provide the patients with as much detail as possible for medication.
