Writing Chinese couplets for the coming new year

A group of Chinese calligrapher lovers in Feihong Sub-district of Yinzhou District, were writing duilian, or Chinese couplets as gifts to their neighbors. As a long-held tradition, couplets written on red paper are posted on each side of the front door on Chinese New Year's Day to celebrate the New Year.
