Ningbo promoting imported commodity distributing markets

In the central area of Ningbo Eastern New Town a distributing market of imported commodities from various countries is developing. The other day, in the market a delegation of over 10 Hungarian enterprises hosted a fair of famous Hungarian wines. And then it signed an agreement with the market to set up a Hungarian National Hall in the center, for display food, household necessities and drinks from Hungary.

Ningbo Imported Commodity Center, located in Hall 9 and Hall 100 in Ningbo International Exhibition Center, over 40,000 square meters in area, has such functions as exhibiting, promoting, business talking, trading and office working. Since its opening, The center seized the opportunity from the country's favorable policy for imported goods and implemented a series of preferential policies in rental, tax and custom services. In addition, the center has set up offices of business invitation in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

 

As the third largest base of imported wine in China, Ningbo Zone of Imported Wine was first opened. In June 2011, cooperating with Ningbo Free Trade Zone, Ningbo International Exhibition Center started to practice the model of "shop and warehouse" in the wine market, that is, to give full play to the functionality of international trade, warehousing and international logistics in Ningbo Free Trade Zone, and to make use of the advantageous conditions of Ningbo International Exhibition Center and to make concerted efforts to promote the Zone of Imported Wine.

The Zone of Imported Automobiles opened this August. This is Ningbo's first place for the display of imported cars, like the luxurious cars of Ferrari, Porsche, and Bentley, as well as the popular brands like Volkswagen, Infiniti and Citroen.

A designing institute of South Korea has signed an agreement to set up a product designing center in Ningbo Market of Imported Commodity. Sharda Exports, an Indian company of hand-made carpets is now talking with Ningbo Market of Imported Commodity about the establishment of its headquarters in the center. …Today, Ningbo Center of Imported Commodity is becoming more and more influential and a favorite place of Ningbo consumers. Here, the visitors can purchase such imported goods as eiswein from Canada, honey from New Zealand, tea from UK, and kitchenware from Germany.
