Chunhu fast track opens to transportation in Fenghua

Several days ago, the fast track between Fenghua urban area and Chunhu as well its extension was fully open to transportation, which connects Chunhu, Qiucun and Congyue in the coastal east to Fenghua, Ningbo urban areas and Yongtaiwen freeway and Ningbo beltway.
It is known that the project of fast track between Fenghua urban area and Chunhu as well as its extension was launched in 2011 with a length of 13.06 kilometers. According to the construction standard of first-class highway, the width of road bed is 24.5 meters with four driveways in both directions and the designed speed per hour is 80 kilometers, which need investment of 846 million yuan. Currently, the 3270-meter-ling Jinhai tunnel is the longest one in Ningbo. As this fast track open to transportation, the drive journey from Fenghua urban area to Chunhu will be narrowed from over 40 minutes to 15 minutes.
