Ninghai established strategic projects valuing 5 billion yuan

On the afternoon of December 1, the "Sports and Urban Construction 2012" program resulted in cooperative intent valuing 16 billion yuan. Of the results, Ninghai County and China Sports Newspaper and China Cultural Academy reached cooperative intent, involving strategic projects valuing 5 billion yuan.

This project in Ninghai is an outdoor sports and tourism project, with the area designed amounting to 25 square km. Wirth the ecological resources of Huchen Harbor, this project takes tourism as its core, including such facilities as outdoor sports, ancient town protection, conference and recreation, so as to turn east Ninghai into a zone that integrates facilities of tourism with the natural and cultural resources. The total investment of the project reaches 3 billion yuan. Another project is Ninghai Sports and Cultural Complexity, and the land for the project is 300 mu. This large urban sports and cultural complexity will integrate such functions as sports, cultural innovation, artistic training and tourist shopping. The total investment of the project is estimated to be 2 billion yuan.

After the agreements are signed, Ninghai County will make plans for a series of large sports and cultural projects. It will integrate existing sports and cultural resources, establish special funds, and devote itself to the development of the projects and make them classic ones with distinct Ninghai features.
