In the morning of April, 9th, Jiangdong district has collectively administered stands with no credentials and stands blocking roads, which launched 100-day-long “Spring Thunder” activity to improve the city image. On that day alone, more than 50 illegal running businesses were investigated with more than 100 tools.
Following the city inspectors to Shuguang vegetable market, we found that various stands of snacks, vegetable and billboards around the market almost occupied one third of the road. Seeing this, the city inspectors communicate and negotiated with the owners patiently, asking stands with no credentials to retreat immediately and stands blocking roads to go back to their store. Besides, they also help some owners move their goods inside the store and persuaded some owners to run business in a legal way.
“As long as we reason with those owners, make them understand and act legally, most of them will stop and correct their illegal business.” one of the inspector said. As for those who don’t cooperate with them, the inspectors will take coercive measures and detain their property.
According to information from Jiangdong, on 9th, there were altogether 39 law-enforcement cars with 150 officials. They collectively inspected and administered stand which have no credentials and stands blocking road in key routines, plazas, schools and market neighborhood.
