According to Ningbo Hangzhou Bay Management Committee, the common airport in Hangzhou Bay was approved. It is learned that a runway will be built in the first phase of the airport to satisfy the landing and taking off of fixed wing aircrafts, small-sized business aircrafts and helicopters, with supporting buildings like control tower, terminal building, parking apron, hangar, lights, and GPS. The airport is mainly designed for the trial flight of aircrafts, maritime tourism, emergency aid and social security
