Dongqian Lake to build a lake recreational complex

In Dongqian Lake Holiday Resort, the Tulip Festival will open from March 28; Xianping Kindergarten will start its construction; a fast road that connects Dongqian Lake and downtown Ningbo will start construction; the Eastern Lakeside Cycleway, a project with its investment totaling 60 million yuan, will start its construction in June; the "Water World", the largest water recreational park in east China, will open this summer. These are some of the new programs that are expected to promote Dongqian Lake Resort to a national-level holiday resort.

The other day, out of hundreds of tourist resorts in the country, the National Tourism Administration picks Dongqian Lake of Ningbo, Haiquan Bay in Zhuhan, Tianmu Lake of Jiangsu, and Haiyang of Shandong Province to be candidates of national-level holiday resorts. According to Shi Jiquan, Director of the Administrative Committee of Dongqianhu Lake Holiday Resort, this year, the city will make great efforts to turn Dongqian Lake Holiday Resort into a first class national holiday resort.
