Beilun: More than 50,000 Geely automobiles exported this year

From January to November, 50,627 Geely (one of the top ten automobile manufacturers in China) cars made in Beilun have been exported, making Geely the second largest car exporter in China. 
From the beginning of this year, the increasing export of whole vehicle products in Beilun can be attributed to the roll-on/roll-off ship transportation of the Beilun Port. In the first three quarters, 35,015 automobiles have been exported to the Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and the Eastern Europe, up by 288% compared over the same period and taking up more than 50% of Geely’s total export. 
Demands from the Middle East and the Eastern Europe, among other overseas markets, have been rising from January to November, with more than 25,000 whole vehicle products exported to Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Iran, 50% of the total export. And over 15,000, 30% of the total, have been exported to Russia and Ukraine. And there is a great change in the structure of the export products, with mid- and high-end products increasing.
