Agricultural enterprises received orders of 360 million Yuan from exhibitions abroad

It has been learned from Ningbo Agriculture Bureau (NAB) that pilot agricultural enterprises have received orders of 360 million Yuan (57.78 million USD), up by 9.5% over the same period of last year, from their exhibitions in the United States, South Africa, France, Indonesia and Japan. Agricultural enterprises going abroad with government fund support is an important policy by Ningbo government to develop export-oriented agriculture.
Special funds have also been allocated to encourage enterprises to exhibit in the China Agriculture Trade Fair and the Zhejiang Agricultural Fair. And quite a number of enterprises also participate in the China Green Food Expo and the Economic and Trade Negotiation Meeting of Agricultural Exchange and Cooperation across the Straits.
 Workers from NAB say that the policy aims to increase the influence of Ningbo agricultural products and promote the stable development of Ningbo agricultural product trade. In the exhibition there are merchant invitation projects attracting city industrial and commercial capital, foreign capital and private capital into Ningbo agriculture to promote its modernization.
