2,000 attend 12th Foreign-invested Enterprises Sports Meet in Ningbo

The 12th Ningbo Foreign-invested Enterprises Sports Meet kicked off in Ningbo Sports Centre on 9th June, 2012. There were more than 70 enterprises and 2,000 athletes participating in the event.

The sports meet was jointly held by the Ningbo Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation Bureau and Ningbo Municipal Sports Bureau. Similar sports meets are also held in Shenzhen annually.

A tug-of-war competition was held following the opening ceremony. Although the weather was swelteringly hot, it did not affect cheerleaders’ passion for the games. The team from Ningbo Ling Mao Optoelectronics Co won the first place, followed by Ningbo Activa Leisure Inc and Ningbo WOLLAMTEX Apparel Co.
