Jiangbei Kongpu Taxi Service Center comes into service on June 26. The center will be run by social capital. The government will buy its services. It is the first downtown taxi service center after the East Taxi Service Center.

Kongpu Taxi Service Center lies in the Municipal Vehicle Comprehensive Performance Inspection Center of Huancheng North Road. The center has three major functional areas: comprehensive service area, car maintenance area and commercial area. The comprehensive area can provide services like parking, certificates office and restaurants. The maintenance area provide services such as overhead light test, taximeter test, GPS terminal maintenance and vehicle comprehensive performance tests.
