Statistics from the customs show that in the first three quarters this year, Ningbo's export to Brazil has a rapid increase.

In fact, with the decline of the markets of the USA and Europe, more and more export enterprises of Ningbo are turning to the emerging market. Brazil, one of the Brics, is becoming a market that attracts many enterprises.

"Chinese enterprises are interested in the emerging market. This is what enterprises are doing," said Lin Hang, General Manager of Asian Co., Ltd. of Zhejiang Guangbo Group.

According to Ningbo Customs, in the first three quarters this year, Ningbo's export to Brazil increased by 11.1% against 2011, 9.5 points higher than the general growth of the export in the same period. The export to Brazil covers 2.6% of the total of the export.

 

As advantageous competitive commodities of Ningbo, in the first three quarters this year, the export of mechanical and electrical products to Brazil totals 780 million US dollars, increased by 13.3%. Of the total, the export of home appliances amounts to 110 million, increased by 5.3%; the export of LED panels amounts to 110 million US dollars, increased by 90%; the export of TVs, radios and wireless equipment amounts to 36.85 million US dollars, increased by 46.7%. The export of labor intensive products also grows rapidly. In the first three quarters this year, the export of textile products to Brazil totals 190 million US dollars, increased by 12.2%; the export of lighting utensils amounts to 18.94 billion US dollars, increased by 46.2%; the export of plastic products amounts to 17.81 billion, increased by 9.6%.
