At present, the Ministry of Commerce is soliciting green trade cases across the country. Ningbo, the “vanguard”, has received good news, and the case of “building a green ecology and leading the brand to go to sea” of Beifa Group has been preliminarily affirmed in the expert review stage.

Ningbo is one of the first cities in China to carry out the convergence of green trade rules and promote green and low-carbon transformation and development through two-way opening-up. Since last year, Ningbo has intensively carried out training on coping with the greening of trade, with more than 20 training sessions and more than 1,000 foreign trade enterprises participating in the training, ranking first in the province.

At the same time, more and more enterprises realize that practicing green development is not only fulfilling their social responsibilities, but also a reliable path for them to reduce costs and increase efficiency, and it is more conducive to seizing the opportunity and winning the initiative in the international green and low-carbon transformation.

Improve the top-level design to help enterprises prosper towards “green”.

Promoting the green development of trade is inseparable from strong policy traction and guarantees. With the continuous support of relevant policies, the export scale of Ningbo’s “new three” and high-tech products continues to expand. Last year, more than 68,000 new energy vehicles were exported at Ningbo Port, a record high. From January to July this year, Ningbo’s total import and export volume exceeded 800 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.9%.

The innovation chain is empowered, and the “green new high” is growing rapidly.

“There are many enterprises in the country that are making efforts to green trade, and an important reason why Beifa can stand out is green ecology and industrial symbiosis.” Qiu Zhiming, chairman of Beifa Group, said that as a national supply chain innovation and application demonstration enterprise and a national green supply chain management demonstration enterprise, Beifa actively plays the “chain main effect” to drive more than 3,000 enterprises in the industry to carry out green transformation, which can reduce the total cost of enterprises by about 20% after effective implementation.

Coincidentally, Risen Energy is committed to building a green supply chain, integrating the concepts of green design, green procurement, and green manufacturing into every aspect of enterprise operations. At present, Risen Energy has won a number of national and provincial green factories, future factories, smart factories and other titles. In April this year, Risen Energy was successfully selected into the “2023 Chinese Enterprise Carbon Neutrality Performance List” for its outstanding performance in green energy.

Looking at the whole city, Ningbo has accelerated the cultivation of “green new high, big and strong” enterprises, accelerated the construction of green manufacturing system for industrial clusters, and built green parks, green factories, green supply chain management enterprises, green design demonstration enterprises, green design products, etc. Last year, Ningbo added 69 state-level specialized and new “little giant” enterprises. This year, Ningbo added 21 new individual champion enterprises in the manufacturing industry, and the cumulative total climbed to 104, ranking first in the country for seven consecutive years.

Not long ago, the No. 3-1 loading key operation line in the harbor area of Ningbo Zhoushan Port Town ushered in the trial operation of the first hydrogen energy heavy truck. After the heavy truck is fully loaded with 35 tons of coal to complete the entire loading cycle, the hydrogen fuel consumption is only about 1%, the energy consumption cost is about 75% lower than that of the diesel dump truck, and the whole process is pollution-free and zero carbon emissions.

Looking at the entire Ningbo Zhoushan Port, there are fewer and fewer “carbon emitting” links: traditional diesel has been gradually replaced by shore power, and more than 400 traditional diesel-powered gantry cranes have been transformed, saving 35,000 tons of oil and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 88,000 tons per year. In the first quarter of this year, the shore power consumption of each terminal in Ningbo Zhoushan Port exceeded 5 million kWh, a year-on-year increase of 475%; At present, 241 electric container trucks have been put into use, and the first intelligent battery swap station in the industry has been put into use; Fuel trucks have been gradually “retired”, and LNG trucks and hydrogen energy trucks have been put on duty one after another. “In the Zhenhai Port District alone, next year, we will update 2 new energy forklifts, and the number of new energy mobile machinery will reach 29.
