The Municipal Bureau of Asset Planning recently announced the Ningbo rail transit network plan. The planning period is divided into forward and long-term. Among them, the forward is 2035; There is no specific period of time for the long-term vision, and the control scope of construction land in Ningbo and the population size estimated according to the reasonable capacity of resources and environment are the control conditions of the long-term planning.
The forward line network consists of 16 lines. A number of flexible control lines are planned in the long term to connect Shaoxing, Taizhou and other places. The spatial coverage target is as follows: the long-term line network covers the central urban area of Ningbo,
Yuci urban area, Ninghai urban area and Xiangshan urban area. The coverage rate of population jobs within an 800-meter radius of the central urban rail station has reached 60%, and the coverage rate of the population within an 800-meter radius of the Sanjiang core station has reached 80%.
The time target is: 60 minutes traffic circle in Ningbo city, 60 minutes commuting circle in the central city, 60 minutes commuting circle in Yuci urban area, and 45 minutes to Ningbo hub in major areas.
Ningbo’s rail transit network is divided into two levels: urban rail transit and urban rail transit. Urban rail transit (including urban/suburban railway): the service radius is 60 km ~ 80 km. It has formed a fast connection channel between the central urban area of Ningbo and Yuci urban area, Xiangshan and Ninghai areas, and has become the skeleton of public transportation in the city. Urban rail transit (including the central urban rail network and Yuci urban rail network): the service radius is 30 kilometers ~ 40 kilometers. It has become the backbone of public transportation in the central urban area and Yuci urban area, as well as the main body of public transportation in the core area of Sanjiang.
The long-term line network consists of 16 lines, including: Central Urban Rail Transit Line 1~9, Urban Rail Transit (including Urban/Suburban Railway) Line 10~12, Yucicheng District Rail Transit Line N1~N4. The total scale of the whole network is 1162.5 kilometers. Among them, the total scale of urban rail transit (including urban/suburban railway) is 494.2 kilometers, the total scale of the central urban rail transit network is 525.2 kilometers, and the total scale of Yuci urban rail transit network is 143.1 kilometers
