Recently, with a total investment of 2.2 billion yuan, 11 emerging industry projects in such fields as new functional materials, high-end equipment, and biomedicine have started construction simultaneously in Jiangbei District, with an estimated annual output value of 5.4 billion yuan upon full capacity.Over half of these projects cannot be separated from the secondary development of industrial land.In recent years, Jiangbei District has continuously developed a new business model that combines upstream and downstream operations. “Through independent development by enterprises, acquisition of state-owned assets, and government storage, the existing industrial space has been redeveloped, leading to over 1.4 million square meters of extra industrial space and generating over five billion yuan in output value.” said a related person in charge from the Jiangbei District Economic and Information Bureau.So far, a total of 47 capacity expansion projects have been carried out in the district, including 40 completed projects, with an additional construction area of approximately 766,000 square meters. These high-quality enterprises and projects have provided more possibilities for the rapid growth of the local industrial economy.For a long time, the high-quality development of manufacturing industry has faced some difficulties: limited
industrial land resources, low utilization rate, unclear industrial agglomeration effect, and low degree of digitalization of enterprises.Jiangbei District has provided its own solutions to these difficulties.The core is to promote “intelligent transformation and digital transformation” with the “point line plane” mode. In terms of “point”, manufacturing enterprises will be encouraged to build benchmark projects such as future factories and digital workshops. In terms of “line”, substantial progress has been made in promoting the “N+X” digital transformation of the magnetic material sub-industry, thus enhancing the overall competitiveness of the industry. In terms of “plane”, small, medium-sized and micro manufacturing enterprises have been promoted to apply low-cost and modular industrial robots and industrial Internet micro-services have been promoted to implement lightweight digital reform.The key is to attract businesses through existing businesses and continuously introduce “new blood”. By introducing such emerging industries and projects as Zhengxin Materials and Zhihua Intelligence, Jiangbei District has continuously cultivated and strengthened advantageous industrial clusters, empowering high-quality development of the industrial economy with new quality elements. A leading automotive parts enterprise in Jiangbei District plans to invest one billion yuan to purchase land in Jiangbei Emerging Industrial Park for further expansion of production scale.The solutions include precise policy implementation and targeted treatment. Jiangbei District has selected benchmark enterprises for “intelligent transformation and digital transformation”, continuously summarized and sorted out typical case results and experiences, and organized large-scale publicity, observation, and training. For some small and micro enterprises, the district has continuously promoted resource sharing by establishing an expert consultation diagnosis and consulting system, as well as conducting a dozen of personalized dignosis activities, forming an organizational form of promotion.“This year, we have reserved about 350 mu of industrial land and 500,000 square meters of small and micro enterprise parks.
