On September 20, the 2024 “AI Ningbo” First Artificial Intelligence Empowerment Industry Competition was officially launched. The competition sets up “four tracks” of intelligent technology, intelligent equipment, intelligent terminals, and smart cities, and sincerely invites talents from all walks of life to become Ningbo’s “dream partners”, and move forward with “data” and create the future intelligently.
Artificial intelligence technology is an important engine for the development of new quality productivity. With the theme of “Artificial Intelligence Empowering Industry”, this competition focuses on the construction of artificial intelligence talent echelon, gives full play to the advantages of Ningbo’s strong manufacturing industry foundation and rich application scenarios of artificial intelligence technology, explores a new path of talent introduction with competition and competition with competition, seizes the commanding heights of artificial intelligence development, and promotes Ningbo’s transformation to digital intelligence, new energy and internationalization with faster speed and stronger momentum.
The competition is hosted by the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence, fully linked with the Service Center for Overseas Study of the Ministry of Education, the China Science and Technology Exchange Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Industrial Culture Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Development and Investment Group, deeply binding the main enterprises in the field of artificial intelligence, closely combining the Ningbo industry, and is a professional competition with high specifications, accurate focus and wide radiation.
At present, the competition has simultaneously opened overseas registration channels in North America, Europe, Singapore, Japan and South Korea, divided into four stages of project collection, project preliminary selection, semi-finals, and finals, with three groups: innovation group, start-up group, and growth group, and the project collection will continue until February 2025, making full use of the advantages of the overseas resource pool of the European and American Alumni Association, the overseas liaison station of SDIC Science and Technology Innovation and the high-level talent resource pool of Ningbo, and vigorously attract overseas high-end talents to sign up for the competition.
