NB-HK Cultural Cooperation Forum Held in Hong Kong

A show named “Film and Ningbo” in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 25th unveiled the forum on Ningbo-Hong Kong cultural cooperation, which was sponsored by the Ningbo Municipality and HKTDC and undertaken by the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV, Film, Press and Publication.
On the morning of the 25th, the forum on Ningbo-Hong Kong film cooperation was held. Tang Yijun , chairman of Ningbo committee of the CPPCC and Lin Jinayue, member of the national committee of the CPPCC and the vice chairman of the HKDFC made speeches. Personages in Ningbo and Hong Kong film circles such as Zhang Jianyong, deputy director of the Chinese Film Archive, Huang Baiming, the committee member of the FDC and chairman of the Movie Producers and Distributors Association of Hong Kong and others attended the forum.
Tang Yijun said in his speech that Ningbo had taken its lead in establishing the first Chinese Film Studio, filming the first Chinese sound film and the first color film，researching the first Chinese 35mm sound film camera and the first film magnetic sound recording. And there are in Ningbo a number of prestigious men committed to film, such as Shao Yifu, Zhang Shichuan and so on. At the same time, Hong Kong has been providing a historical stage for Ningbo actors, such as Hong Jinbao, Zhou Xingchi and so on, who have contributed enormously for the development of Hong Kong film.
Tang also said that we are now in a new stage of promoting the development and prosperity of culture. To develop the film and TV industry is significant for the promotion of building advanced culture, meeting the spiritual and cultural needs of the public and promoting the coordinated development of economy and society. Learning from Hong Kong film and TV industry and strengthening cooperation with it so as to promote the mutual prosperity of Ningbo and Hong Kong film and TV industry is our common wish. It is hoped that film and TV cooperation will become a new field of the cultural cooperation and make Ningbo and Hong Kong film and TV industry even better.
On the forum, guests from Ningbo and Hong Kong made speeches on the latest ideas, trends, hot topics and difficult issues about film, TV, animation and game industry. In that afternoon, promotion on products and projects of animation and game industry was held.
