Jiangbei First Youth E-commerce Competition Held

On the afternoon of January, 16, contestants from Ningbo Kuqu Network Technology Co., Ltd were introducing children’s hats and the story of developing itself into a company with the annual sales of RMB 20 million yuan.
New office buildings are being built. Ink-characters of Yingxiong Buwen Chuchu (Don’t ask where the hero comes from) are written on the white wall. On the afternoon of January,16, a dream show of e-commerce competition was being held in Ningbo E-commerce Incubation Base. Top ten constants of the first Jiangbei Youth E-commerce Competition were competing for the championship.
Wu Yi, a 22-year-old college student has another identity – general manager of Ningbo Kunshang Information & Technology Co.,
Ltd. Imparted with the idea of Technology changes life, he and his partners have brought an all-in-one service app called Yi Shenghuo (Easy life) which was independently developed by his company to serve college students in Ningbo, encompassing the services of on-line food order, employment and recruitment, wechat-store marketing. They hope it will make life more convenient for people.
Xu Hongbin, a 27-year-old man who has graduated for five years. He has been starting his own business for six years and failed four times. However, what remains is his never-changing mind. On behalf of Ningbo Kuqu Network Technology Co., Ltd, he introduced their internet-based children’s clothes company. The company integrating design, production and sale specializes in children’s hats and sells school bags as its minor business. The brand – kocotree is now available in Tmall.
A person in the Party Committee of Jiangbei District told us that the contestants are mainly those born in 1990s. They have been carrying the dream of starting a business. They are full of energy and passion. They have the correct insight about the market. However, they may also lack the perseverance and are inadequate in self-correction and development because they are young and inexperienced.
Considering this point, we not only invited experts from universities and government departments to be judges but also some leading examples of university students starting a business. Lu Xiao, general manager of Jiangbei Tianmi Shikong Trading Co., Ltd and Xuyi, president of Zhejiang Xuanyi Network Technology Co., Ltd came to tell their stories of starting a business.
In the final, six programs including Kuqu Network Technology Co., Ltd stood out. They were awarded a series of Dream 个ifts including the entrepreneurial fund offered by the organizing committee, the priority of being located in Ningbo E-commerce City and Jiangbei Youth Pioneer Garden, reduction of rental fees in the garden and favorable credit loans.
It is reported that excellent projects will be given further assistances by the organizing committee of the competition including entrepreneurial training, policy assistance, project incubation and financial support. Entrepreneurial aids and tracking services will be given to promote these excellent projects to get successful transitions quickly so as to inject some freshness to Ningbo’s e-commerce economy.
