GDP growth of Cicheng Town ranks No.1

Recently, the ExcitonTech, located at the Jiangbei High-tech Industrial Park, is busy with the new orders. In the first half of this year, the company achieved an unexpected added output value of 183 million yuan. Like ExcitonTech, a group of major emerging enterprises, including the Samsung-Aux, Changyang Technology, Rui Bio-technology, and Weifu Tianli Turbocharging Technology, have been developing well. In the first six months, the high-tech industry has completed a total industrial added value of 581 million yuan, up by 36.4% over the same period of last year. In addition, in the first half of the year, Cicheng Town completed a total investment volume of 1.145 billion yuan, double that of the same period of last year.
In the first six months, the growth rate of the high-tech industry is 23.8-percentage higher than the average of the whole Jiangbei District, accounting for 55% of the growth of the district. Besides, as the whole economy maintained an upward trend, the major economic index have witnessed rapid increase, with the GDP growth reaching 14.3%, ranking No.1 among all the satellite towns of the city for the past six consecutive quarters.
With the new normal situation of the economy, Cicheng Town has made great efforts to promote the reform of the supply front to improve the quality and efficiency of the supply system and accelerate the formation of the new supply and new impetus, and to promote the high-level development of the economy.
With its mechanic and system advantage of a satellite town, Cicheng Town has fully developed the technological elements in such emerging and innovative fields as new materials, new equipment manufacturing and life & health science, by attracting the settlement of a dozen of quality enterprises such as Changyang Technology and ExcitonTech. With the completion of the projects, the industrial structure of the town has been greatly improved, resulting in the rapid rise of the high-tech industries in the town. In addition to the introduction of the quality projects, the town has encouraged the transformation and upgrading of the traditional industries. By eliminating the outdated production capacity and composing the business investment brochures for the idle resources, the town has attracted a dozen of quality projects such as the Qianna New Materials, giving new impetus to the industrial economic growth of the town.
So far in 2016, with the industrial transformation and upgrading and urban-rural development quality improvement as the major channels, Cicheng Town has attracted 18 new projects, with the total industrial investment of 881 million yuan, up by 94.2% over the same period of last year.
