Data show that Zhejiang Seaport Group completed the cargo throughput of 1.043 billion tons in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%. The container throughput stood at 40.73 million TEUs, up by 7.3% year on year. Ningbo-Zhoushan Port has achieved a new breakthrough in container routes, with the total number of routes stabilizing at over 300, including 120 with the “Belt and Road” area.

It is learned from Ningbo Entry-Exit Frontier Inspection Station that according to the requirements of the “Announcement of the State Migration Administration on Policies and Measures for Optimizing Immigration Management after novel coronavirus Infection’s classification as ‘Class B Control’ disease”, from January 8, 2023, Ningbo Entry Exit Frontier Inspection Station will launch the optimization measures for border inspection in Zhenhai District, Beilun District, Chuanshan Port area, Daxie Port area, Meishan Port area, Xiangshan Port and other open ports under its jurisdiction.
On issuing permit for boarding and disembarking foreign ships
Personnel who need to get on and off a foreign ship due to loading and unloading goods, maintenance operations, visits, visiting relatives, or working on board shall submit relevant documents to Ningbo Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station as required and apply for permission to get on and off. For the application for temporary boarding and disembarking foreign ships, a permit will be valid for the current voyage or for the designated ship within one month. For long-term application for boarding and disembarking foreign ships, a permit for more than one month but less than one year shall be issued.

According to the “Implementation Plan for the Construction of the Recycling System of Waste Materials in Ningbo (2022-2025)”, Ningbo will adhere to the principles of government guidance, market leading, innovation guidance, urban and rural coordination, and step-by-step implementation in recycling, and achieve the sustainable development of the recycling system of waste materials in the city by improving the recycling network of waste materials, improving the processing and utilization level of renewable resources, and promoting the development of second-hand commodity trading and remanufacturing industry.
By 2025, the marketised sustainable operation mechanism of Ningbo’s waste material recycling system will be further improved, the urban and rural coverage of the all-category collection and transportation system will reach 100%, and the renewable resources will achieve full collection of all categories. The the central urban area will achieve full coverage of the “15-minute smart recycling circle”.
