Ninghai County entitled "national garden county"

Recently, the list of "2011 national garden cities, counties and towns" was released by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development, and Ninghai County ranked among the national garden counties.

In 2007, Ninghai County Party Committee and Ninghai County Government made it an objective to build the national garden county. By the end of 2011, the green coverage had reached 40.1% and the green space area per capita reached 12.6 square meters. The green coverage rate and the compliance rate for urban roads stood at 100% and 83.3% respectively, and the main road green belt area accounted for 29.1% of the total area of the roads.

This year, Ninghai County is to strengthen the construction of major ecological projects, build eight national ecological villages, complete the green area of over 10,000 acres and build 35 forest villages
