Zhenhai cooperates with German University to build vocational education center

Recently, the first high-skilled talents training center by Dresden University of Technology from Germany settled down in Zhenhai Vocational Education Center, which symbolized the start of the cooperation between Zhenhai Vocational Education and German university to build the first-class high-skilled talents project. 
German’s vocational education earns reputation worldwide. Its "dual system" mode is the often followed by vocational education in all countries in the world. Dresden University of Technology, founded in 1828, is a famous state application-oriented University and one of the bases for training vocational talents in Germany. Its vocational level ranks first class in Germany and its special education concepts and unique teaching methods have been recognized by Germany and other European countries. 

Zhenhai Vocational Education Center is entitled State Key Middle School of Vocational Education, Zhejiang Provincial First Class Middle School of Vocational Education. and 2014 Provincial Model School. Its electromechanical application major is Demonstration Major of Zhejiang Province; Port Mechanical Operation and Maintenance Major is key major of the city and special major in the province; CNC Technology Application is the Brand Major of the city. In the 2014 National Skill Competition for Vocational Schools, 11 students from Zhenhai on behalf of Ningbo attended 7 competitions and all won a prize. Zhang Yongqiang and Sun Qingwen, ranked first in the first prize winners in the mould-making project, the first time for Ningbo and Zhejiang to win the honor. It also put forward the education concepts of training high-skilled talents with abilities of creation, innovation and entrepreneurship. On the campus, there are 10 entrepreneurship teams in the bases of "The Source of Creation", "Innovation Workshop" "Entrepreneurship Valley".
According to the president, the Training Center will introduce the standards of curricula, teachers, examinations, evaluations, organization and management of teaching from Germany, build a base for practical training and standardized tests which integrate theory and practice, and have teaching reform and teachers’ training of certain majors, to drive the vocational education in Zhenhai to develop with quality. The center will also radiate to the whole city and even the whole province, providing teachers’ training and technical training service for other vocational education schools.
