R&D team led by Canadian academician settles in Ningbo University

With the introduction of Wu Ke, an academician of both Canadian Royal Academy of Science and Academy of Engineering, Ningbo University has attracted the settlement of the R&D team of the "key technology and parts for next-generation wireless communications system", led by Professor Wu. The launching ceremony of the R&D team was held at Ningbo University on December 28, attended by the related leaders from the National Natural Science Foundation and the Ministry of Science and Technology, as well as such municipal leaders as Vice-mayor Zhang Minghua.
The R&D team for the "key technology and parts for next-generation wireless communications system" has been listed as one of the high-end 3315 Plan venture teams in Ningbo. 
The team, composed of ten professors or scholars from home and abroad, including Wu Ke, academician of both Canadian Royal Academy of Science and Academy of Engineering, one national 1000-Plan expert, and four professors, aims at the research and development of the key technology of the ultra-high-speed green wireless communications for the next-generation wireless communications system. The research will cover the three key technological projects of the wireless communications, and establish the three product lines of the millimeter-wave components and parts, smart antennas, and optical transceivers and modules.
