Ningbo establishes government scholarship for international students

Administrative Measures of Ningbo on Government Scholarship for International was recently released. The government scholarship aims to attract more international students to the higher education institutions. The scholarship is from 6,000 to 30,000 yuan.

The applicants for the scholarship should meet the following conditions: they should be foreign candidates or students of colleges in Ningbo for Ph.D, MA, BA or 2-year BA programs or those long-term students have made advanced studies in colleges in Ningbo for at least one semester.

According to the Measures, The quota for the scholarship should be 15% of the total of the international students in Ningbo. The scholarship is in four categories: A, B, C and D.
