Three robot technology and application docking meetings held in Ningbo

During the Robot Summit held in Yuyao County on June 14, three robot technology and application docking meetings were held for such industries as household appliance and packaging, mold, and auto parts respectively. Over 200 experts and representatives from enterprises conducted technological exchanges and case promotion on such topics as smart reform, cost reduction, efficiency enhancing and product quality improvement by means of the robot technology.
At the docking meetings, 15 enterprises conducted the promotion of the msart equipment products, technologies and solutions, including Universal Robots from Denmark, Evolute Robots from Wuhu, Joyson Industrial Automation and Robots of Ningbo, and Wodi Automation from Shanghai.
"The molding, household appliance and auto parts industries have always been the labor-intensive industries, featuring strong labor intensity and poor production environment with such processes as welding, coating and surface treatment. With the robots, we can greatly reduce the labor intensity and cost and enhance the product quality as well." said a person in charge from Ningbo Economic and Information Commission. The docking meetings aimed to promote the wider and higher-level cooperation between the local mold, household appliance and auto parts enterprises and distinctive intelligent equipment manufacturers from home and abroad, for mutual benefits and the win-win results
