Landscape upgrading project launched in Ningbo

According to Ningbo Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau, the 2020 special action for “landscape upgrading in Ningbo” has been launched.
The action, with the overall plan at the municipal level and the option making at the district level, will involve 81 landscape spots and 30 kinds of landscape seedlings. The micro-transformation and the organic upgrading of the park green space will be further accelerated. Reportedly, 10 hectares of public green space and 2,000 square meters of vertical planting areas will be added by the end of this year.
“In terms of the construction of national ecological garden city, Ningbo has such ‘short boards’ as the lack of planting varieties and the monotonous landscape color.” said a person in charge from the bureau.
To address the problems, the special action will be combined with other activities like the construction of beautiful streets, the services for major events, the construction of civilized city and the daily maintenance of the landscapes. The upgrading action will involve the park green spaces and roads with low greening level, serious plant aging and poor conservation effect, as well as the other roads and green spaces with single color and poor landscape effect
