Qixi Needlework Culture Festival & Ancient Town Fair for Cultural and Creative Products was first held at Qiantong Ancient Town on August 7th, Chinese Valentine’s Day. Streets in the town were lined with cultural
products with distinctive Qixi features, including tie dyeing, embroidery, patchwork, calligraphy and painting, knitting, lacquer craft and bamboo weaving, all for visitors to choose from. Also, visitors were cheered by a wide array of performances, such as washing silk, throwing colored balls, singing love songs, and reciting Chinese poems in traditional Han Dynasty costume
