More flights for summer peak

On July 23, Ningbo Airport released news: in the first half of the year, the passenger throughput was 6,267,400, an increase of 11.12% over the same period of last year. The cumulative number of guaranteed flights was 44,800, an increase of 8.83%. Both data surpass the national average. With the coming of summer peak, from July 24, Ningbo Airport have added multiple flights.

The top ten domestic airports with the most passenger flow in Ningbo in the first half of the year were Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, Beijing Capital Airport, Chongqing Jiangbei Airport, Xi'an Xianyang Airport, Shenzhen Baoan Airport, Zhengzhou Xinzheng Airport, Qingdao Liuting Airport, Changsha Huanghua Airport, Guiyang Longdongbao Airport and Kunming Changshui Airport. Among them, Guangzhou is still the number 1 destination for Ningbo citizens to travel, with a passenger flow of 312,200 passengers, which is attributed to the close business exchanges and trade activities between Ningbo and Guangzhou. Guiyang Longdongbao Airport is the first time to enter the top ten list, becoming the ninth largest domestic airport for Ningbo citizens to fly to in the first half of the year. support policy, Ningbo Airport has increased flights to and from Guiyang. Ningbo Airport currently has seven airlines flying between Ningbo and Guiyang, with up to 9 flights a day.

Among the major international airports, the passenger flow from Ningbo to both Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand and Nha Trang Airport in Vietnam exceeded 30,000; passengers to Jeju International Airport and Don Muang Airport in Bangkok have exceeded 20,000; passengers to Angkor International Airport, Nagoya Airport and Singapore Changi Airport exceeded 10,000. Among them, the number of passengers to Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok and Don Muang Airport in Bangkok has increased to 58,000, making Thailand favorite international destination for Ningbo citizens in the first half of the year.

With the coming of summer peak, Ningbo Airport has recently added and increased multiple routes. Domestically, starting from July 24th, Chengdu Airlines will add flights to and from Guiyang every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with the lowest fare 440 yuan per way. The flight from Hebei Airlines to Shijiazhuang will be increased from the original Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday to the daily shift, with the lowest fare  470 yuan one way; from August 4th, Eastern Airlines will add Ningbo-Yuncheng-Erdos flights, which will be on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday respectively, with the lowest fare 1050 yuan one way; since August 14th, Spring Airlines will increase flights from Ningbo to Chaozhou from the original every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday to a daily shift, with the lowest fare 250 yuan. Internationally, starting from August 2nd, Spring Airlines flights from Ningbo to Bangkok will be increased from the original every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday to one daily, with the lowest fare 450 yuan (excluding tax); since August 16, Eastern Airlines has increased Ningbo-Osaka route to the daily service
