On the afternoon of April 28, 2019 China Maritime Day Forum Organizing Committee enlarged meeting and the first meeting of the Executive Committee were held in Ningbo. The event is scheduled for mid-July, with the main theme of "Raise the sail of silk road and build a blue dream". Preparations are currently being carried out in an orderly manner.
China Maritime Day is the only festival approved by the State Council in China's sea-related field. The 2019 China Maritime Day Forum event consists of one main forum, four sub-forums, one parallel forum and 12 mass events. One main forum, 2019 China Maritime Day Forum, held on the morning of July 11. The four sub-forums are China International Seafarers Forum, China International Ship Technology and Security Forum, High-Quality Development Forum for Private Port and Shipping Enterprises, and Maritime Culture Forum. The parallel forum is the Maritime Silk Road Port International Cooperation Forum.
In 2019, the forum also set up 12 mass events, namely China Zhenghe Maritime Billboard, China Shipping 50 Summer Summit, "My Maritime Dream" - Zhejiang Youth Theme Essay Competition, "My Maritime Dream" ——Zhejiang Youth
Theme Painting Competition, National Youth Maritime Knowledge Competition, China Maritime Day Yacht Race and “One Belt and One Road” National Sailing Invitational Tournament, China Maritime Day Special Lecture, Maritime Class, Port Open Day, Naval Ship Open Day, The port museum open day and maritime culture in the city
