2016 Ningbo-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Forum to Open in November

It is learnt from the organization committee meeting on the afternoon of Oct.14th that 2016 Ningbo-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation forum will open in Ningbo on Nov.2nd and last until 4th. Vice mayor Wang Jianhou attended the meeting and gave suggestions for further preparation for the forum.
2016 Ningbo-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Forum will seize the great opportunities of China’s implementation of the Belt and Road and the Yangtze River Economic Belt initiatives, promote the Ningbo-centered cities’ synchronization in integrated progress in Ningbo, Taizhou and Zhoushan. With a theme of “open and sharing, cooperation and win-win”, the forum will exploit the advantages of Ningbo Bang to the full and strengthen the communication and cooperation between Hong Kong and Ningbo in all respects to reap the mutually beneficial results.
2016 Ningbo-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Forum includes
the opening ceremony and the Belt and Road summit between Ningbo, Zhoushan, Taizhou, Hong Kong and Macao, eight thematic sections and other activities. Eight thematic sections include a seminar on how to make enterprises of Ningbo, Zhoushan and Taizhou go out with the help of China’s super-connector, Hong Kong; Ningbo and Hong Kong’s cultural industry cooperation matchmaking meeting, high-caliber marketization cooperation and education cooperation and exchange; a creative discussion on Jiulonghu Internet Movie Town, a development discussion on Yuehu Jinhui Small Town, a cooperation discussion on the development of Ningbo International Marine Ecological Sci-tech City and a matchmaking meeting of Zhoushan Jianghai transport service center and the International Maritime Services Base.
2016 is the 15thyear of the Ningbo-Hong Kong Economic Forum. The 2016 Forum is the first to invite people from the business and political and experts concerned from Zhoushan, Taizhou and Macao to the discussion and interactive communications.
It is said that besides the main activities, the 2016 Forum will also host some interactive games and activities like Style Hong Kong Show and Hong Kong Food Festival
