On the afternoon of February 20, a party flag pattern was formed with potted flowers by garden workers at the north gate of Ningbo Grand Theater. These days, over 120,000 pots of flowers were displayed at the north and south gates of the Grand Theater Square to greet the coming Ningbo Party Congress.

It seams that earning some extra money is more important than providing a professional service to customers.Now we are paying 12 m like Shanghai but receive a treatment like 10 years ago. Ningbo has improved a lot, but not the taxi service.

On February 19, many citizens came to the Flower World of Luotuo Street, Zhenhai District, to visit the 22nd China Orchid Expo. So far, the Expo has received over 50,000 visitors from inside and outside the province.
According to a meeting on the city management held recently, this year, Ningbo will go on the comprehensive renovation of the back streets in central urban areas. Of the 48 back streets in the plan, 35 will get renovated. This program aims to further improve the people's living environment.
Reportedly, The innovation program includes 16 engineering projects including road leveling and so on. In 2012, the city plans to renovate 48 back streets, 17 in Haishu, 12 in Jiangdong, 7 in Jiangbei, 5 in Zhenhai, 7 in Beilun. According to the plan, the renovation of 35 back streets will be finished this year, 11 in Haishu, 11 in Jiangdong, 7 in Jiangbei, 3 in Zhenhai, and 3 in Beilun. Together with the renovation program, the sewage drainage system of the streets will be improved
