Two Ningbo townships ranked in Zhejiang's top ten most beautiful ancient towns

Qiantong Ancient Town located in Ningbo's Ninghai County was selected as one of the top ten most beautiful towns in Zhejiang Province recently published by the Provincial Tourism Bureau, said the Municipal Bureau of Tourism last Sunday.
Besides Qiantong Ancient Town, the other nine elected towns include Wuzhen Town in Tongxiang, Dongsha in Dai Shan, Nianba in Jiangshan, Pantan Beach in Xianju, Qiantong Ancient Town in Ninghai, Nanxun in Huzhou, Tangqi Town in Yuhang, Longmen Town in Fuyang, Xitang Town in Jiashan and Shipu Fishing Port in Xiangshan.
With more than 1,300 well-preserved ancient dwellings, Qiantong Ancient Town is well known for its protection of Chinese history and culture. There is a saying about the town going, "Every family has carved beams, and every household is located nearby waters". Another elected township in Ningbo is Xiangshan Shipu Fishing Port, which boasts unique regional culture and combines the architectural features of the Ming and Qing Dynasties with fishing culture.
