Ningbo electricity load hit record high

In the hot days, the city electricity load grows rapidly. At 1:27 pm. on August 4th, the electricity load of Ningbo reached 10.42 million KW, hitting a record high. During the ten days of continuous high temperature, the daily maximum electricity load keeps around 10 million KW. Till August 3rd, Ningbo's accumulative total electricity of 2015 has reached 29.148 billion KWH, up 2.34% from a year earlier.
It is reported that with the improvement of power generation capacity of Zhejiang Province and increase of power supply from other provinces, power supply capability of Ningbo has been greatly promoted. According to the largest power supply capacity of Zhejiang Province, Ningbo's power supply capacity maintains around 12 million KW, reaching an overall balance between power supply and demand.
At present, Ningbo has six 500-KV substations containing 17 sets of main transformers with capacity of 15.4 million KVA, forty-six 220-KV substations containing 105 sets of main transformer with capacity of 20.43 million KVA and one hundred and eight-nine110-KV substations containing 392 sets of main transformer with capacity of 18.02 million KVA
