Mould industry grows fast in Beilun

"Look, we are too busy to have more orders." These days, the workshops in Gangteng Plastic Company were very busy. And the mould areas are filled with mould materials to be processed. Gangteng is located in the Industrial Park of High-end Mould and Auto Parts. Since January to February, the total output of the 22 enterprises in the park exceeded about 1 billion yuan. 80% of them have made great growth. Zhenzhi Machinery Mould increased by 223%; Xusheng Machinery grew by 86%.
Mould and auto parts are the traditional strong industry of Beilun District. The design, manufacturing, production die-casting die and the intensity of the manufacturing enterprises all take the lead in China, accounting for 40% of the total production in China. Restricted by factors like land, the local enterprises has long been unable to improve its technology and management. In 2002, the upscale mould and auto parts industrial park was built in Daqi of Beilun. The park occupies an area of 2.68 million square meters, which integrates the R&D, production, inspection, display and sale of upscale mould and auto parts.
At the end of September last year, Gangteng moved into the new factory in the industrial park and expanded its business from electric tools and household appliances to auto industry. Xiao Qiaosheng said, "in our park, we have the opportunity to cooperate with the high-end clients, which enables us to leap over a new stage."
