Central and Western Regions Industry Partnership Symposium Held

The 2012 ZJITS Central and Western Regions Industry Partnership Symposium was held at Nanyuan Hotel on the morning of June 9. Representatives from Naqu County of Tibet, Aqsu City of Xinjiang and the first agricultural development division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps made the introductions on investment environment and projects. Zhejiang Province signed 31 project contracts with the places above at the symposium.
Huang Sanpin, Ma Xiangcun, Qiu Dongyao, Chen Yijun and Gao Kepin attended the meeting.
Naqu, known as the treasure bowl of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is rich in resources of livestock, minerals, herbs and tourism as well as hydropower, wind and solar energy. Aqsu abounds not only in high-quality fruits and cotton, but also in petroleum and natural gas, accounting for 80% and 90% of the total amount in Tarim Basin respectively. The contracts are mainly focused on the exploration of the resources.
At the meeting, the nominal ceremony for the first direct supply store of the Kuche County and the office of the county government was held. It is learned that the store is located in Cixi and several branches will be opened in Ningbo in the second half of 2012
