Meat import data is very impressive. Last year, Ningbo import enterprises further increased cooperation with producers of high-quality agricultural and food products such as meat in Central and Eastern Europe, and imports soared. For example, Ningbo Federal Changyun International Trade Co., Ltd. signed a 200 million US dollar letter of intent for meat imports from Central and Eastern Europe, which greatly enriched the choice of citizens to import meat. In addition, in the many "Hi Shopping Central and Eastern Europe" series of road exhibitions launched in our city, frozen beef gift boxes are widely welcomed by consumers, with a cumulative sales of nearly 10,000 pieces.

Statistics show that the city's food imports from Central and Eastern European countries reached 260 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 63.7%. Among them, meat imports were 72.562 million yuan, an increase of 105 times year-on-year, accounting for about 40% of the country's total meat imports from Central and Eastern European countries. Ningbo has also become the most important Central and Eastern European meat import and distribution center in China.

Cross-border e-commerce is also a booster for the rapid growth of commodity imports in Central and Eastern Europe. Last year, more than 4,000 Central and Eastern European products entered the Ningbo market through cross-border e-commerce, and the sales of "Internet celebrity products" such as Greek olive oil, Czech crystal ware, Serbian wine, and Polish milk were booming.

Last year, the city imported 210 million yuan of Central and Eastern European goods through cross-border e-commerce channels, enriching the types of food, beauty products and daily necessities.
