On March 19, Ningbo municipal government held the 2021 Ningbo-CEEC Cooperation and Exchange Conference in Shanghai.

 Vice Mayor Li Guanding introduced Ningbo’s economic and social development and put forward several suggestions on deepening the two-way cooperation between Ningbo and Central and Eastern European countries. Relevant departments of Ningboreportedthe construction plan of the "17+1" economic and trade cooperation demonstration zone and the plan for this year's China-CEEC Expo. Enterprises from Ningbo have promoted key cooperation platforms and projects. Consul-generals and consular officials of the consulates of Central and Eastern European countries in Shanghai, heads of economic and trade promotion agencies, and representatives of key enterprises expressed that they would actively participate in the China-CEEC Expo, and promote the deepening of bilateral exchanges and cooperation
