The People’s Army in Ningbo Held a Meeting on Establishing Red Flag CPC Branch

The meeting on establishing Red Flag CPC Branch and Example Army Party was held in Xiangshan on June 16th. It is underscored in the meeting that party members need to deepen the learning of the guiding spirits of president Xi Jinping on building the reserve force of people’s army and grass-root party building. It has summarized best practices and sorted out methods, pooled military forces so as to usher in a new landscape for army building. Yang Liping, member of the municipal party committee, Organization Minister and minister of United Front Work Department, addressed the meeting and Zhu Baoding, member of the municipal party committee, political commissar of Ningbo Military Subarea planned all the work.
In recent years, phased results have been scored in grass-root building of the army with 95% Lian level army establishing party branch and 98% of Pai level finishing the same work. Thus, the role of grass-root army has been well played in emergent battles. In particular, it has gone a long way towards cultural advancement, peace building, water pollution treatment and illegal building demolition and poverty reduction.
It is pointed out on the meeting that party building among the grass-root army keeps with the fine tradition and the political strengths of China and it is the fundamental requirement of the Party in leading the army. Organization departments at all levels must work to spearhead the endeavor by laying equal emphasis on grass-root army building and the wider party building effort.
It is stressed on the meeting that organization departments need to coordinate with military departments and take targeted measures on their management so as to build a just task force at the community level. Different localities must stress the importance of building armies in line with the party’s basic requirement, set up well-measured structure, improve basic institutions and enrich the work platform. They must keep pace with the times and be down to earth in heralding a new vista for army building and the development of reserve forces so as to keep Ningbo’s economy sound and fast and make the city join the rest of mega cities as soon as possible
