Wireless monitoring devices equipped for 10 geological landslide hazard spots

Recently, Ningbo Municipal Land and Resources Bureau has installed the wireless monitoring devices for monitoring geological disasters in Zhumin Village of Hengjie Town, the biggest landslide hazard spot in Yinzhou District. The device is mainly used for early warning of the displacement caused by landslide and can greatly strengthen the monitoring of geological environment.

The warning devices are installed on the both sides of the hillside cracks. According to an expert form the Land and Resources Bureau, once the displacement of the crack exceeds 2cm, the wireless receiver will send out the warning. So far, ten geological landslide hazard spots in Ningbo have been equipped with the wireless monitoring devices.
