Ningbo Overtakes Shanghai in Through Transport Volume

Recently, it's learned that the trough transport volume in Ningbo port this year reaches 43,868 TEUs, 81.5% higher than the same time last year, making Ningbo Port overtake Shanghai Port and rank second only to Lianyungang. Furthermore, it is estimated to reach 47,000 by the end of this year, 27 times as many as the year before last.
(Note: through transport means carrying containers directly to the port by train)
