Ningbo launches investment information platform

"Ningbo domestic investment and cooperation information platform" (www.nbtzhz.gov.cn) was officially launched on May 18. Developed by the municipal Economic Cooperation Office，the information platform was jointly established by Economic Cooperation departments at all levels and Ningbo chambers of commerce in other provinces in China. The platform aims to provide an information database for businesspeople of Ningbo or Zhejiang origins who wished to start career in their hometown.

According to its designer, the "Ningbo domestic investment cooperation information platform" consists of a website, six databases, and four platforms. The website refers to the portal website of the information platform. The six databases covers information of Ningbo companies, companies owned by Nignbo businesspeople in other provinces, key investment projects in Ningbo, investment projects outside Ningbo, business investment intentions, policies on investment and cooperation. The four platforms refer to business advisory services platform, short messaging service (SMS) platform, platform for tracking and showcasing of cooperative projects, and the investment environment evaluation platform. While providing supports for the returning of Ningbo entrepreneurs, it intends to encourage local companies to "go global" for more business opportunities .

Currently, the platform has integrated information on 297 key investment projects in Ningbo, over 1000 Ningbo key investment projects outside Ningbo(involving more than 20 municipalities), 104 documents on the policies of investment and cooperation, 356 entries of information on Ningbo companies, and 3000 entries of information on Ningbo  businesspeople nationwide
