Ningbo honored with "festival achievement prize"

On the recent award ceremony of the forth China Festival Prize, Ningbo won the "Festival Achievement Prize" for Ningbo Tourism Festival and Xu Xiake Tourism Festival.
Opened in 2008, Ningbo Tourism Festival is the largest comprehensive tourism festival in Ningbo. With the concept of "tourism development shared by all", the festival aims at making progress on tourism consumption and affordable tourism. Now, it is an important part of Ningbo tourism.
Hosted by Chinese Culture Promotion Society and themed on "commonweal, fairness and accountability", China Festival Prize enjoys a high reputation in the industry. In the past, Ningbo Linag-Zhu Love Festival, China Fishing Festival (Xiangshan) and Maitreya Buddha Cultural Festival (Fenghua) were crowned as "most popular festival", "best culture festival" and "best environment festival" respectively.
