Imported frozen products doubled in the Ningbo Bonded Zone

Statistics from Ningbo Customs show that Ningbo Bonded Zone imported 4932 tons frozen products, 3.1 times that of the same period last year, worth 62.93m yuan, up 81.1%. The imported frozen pork reached 2614 tons (no import in the same period last year); frozen seafood 2209 tons, up 85.7%; frozen beef 107.7 tons (no import in the same period last year ). All the frozen products were imported by foreign-funded enterprises as cargos under special supervision of customs. Up to now, there are 3 refrigerator warehouses in the Bonded Zone, with an area of over 17 million square meters. Meanwhile, as Ningbo Overseas IMP&EXP has been qualified as the consignee of imported meat products, cold-chain logistics in Ningbo Bonded Zone will become more mature, which will further promote the increase of frozen products like seafood, meat and fresh frozen food.
