Housing price declined slightly

On November 18, National Bureau of Statistics of China released the sales prices of residential buildings in 70 medium and large-sized cities in October. According to the statistics, in October, the price of newly-constructed residential buildings in Ningbo dropped by 0.2% over the same period last year, and it is the first decline in 2011. Compared with that of the previous month, the price dropped by 0.4%, down another 0.3% over the figure in September.

Among the 70 medium and large-sized cities, Ningbo and Wenzhou are the only two cities to witness decline in the housing price in October. Statistics also show that the sales price of second-hand residential buildings dropped by 1.3% over the same period last year, and down 0.2% over the previous month
