Four forums of Smart City Expo China 2012 held

On Sept. 9th, in the 2nd Smart City Expo China four summits were held: smart transportation summit forum, smart healthcare summit forum, smart education summit forum and electronic service conference theme forum.

On the smart transportation summit forum, attendants include: member of Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of the NPC and the General Director of China Smart Transportation Wu Zhongze and Deputy Director of Shanghai Transportation Information Center He Cheng. They made discussions on cases of domestic and oversea smart transportation construction, and on topics such as smart transportation future and modern life. Experts suggested that successful experience and new technology applications should be vigorously promoted so as to further the planning and construction of China smart transportation.

On the smart healthcare summit forum, Meng Qun, Director of Statistic Information Center of Ministry of Health, delivered a speech on health informationization development framework and practice of national health informationization concept. Representatives from Taiwan, Henan, Shanghai and Ningbo made reports of their progress on health informationization. Representatives from HUAWEI discussed industrialization of smart healthcare and related issues with experts and scholars.

Attendants of the smart education high level forum included: experts and scholars from East China Normal University, South China Normal University, People's Education Press, Ningbo GQY Video & Telecom Joint Stock Co. and TCS-SMUiCity. On the theme of "smart education, future on science", they made reports on smart education achievements in perspectives of "smart education, innovation pursuit of education informationization", "international development tendency of smart education" and "lifelong education for all".
