E-clearance realized for 99% of exports at Ningbo Port

It is learned from the press conference held recently by the News Office of Ningbo Municipal Government that so far Ningbo Port has realized 94.45% of paperless documentation for import and export declarations, 75% of paperless inspection documentation, and 99% of e-clearance of the exports. 
At the end of 2014, the State Council issued the notice to realize the information exchange, mutual supervision and mutual assistance of the related port administration departments, to improve the customs clearance efficiency, to guarantee the entrance security, and to form the large customs clearance management system with Chinese features as well as international competitiveness by 2020. 
Since 2001, Ningbo has taken in the lead in the whole country to implement the large customs clearance construction. After more than a decade's construction, the clearance speed has accelerated and the comprehensive charge has been greatly reduced. In 2015, Ningbo carried out the implementation program for the large customs clearance construction and proposed 15 reform tasks, including promoting the clearance integration reforms of the Yangtze River Economic Belt Zone, constructing the integrated window for international trade, and duplicating the customs supervision innovation system and the inspection and quarantine system of the Shanghai FTZ. According to the statistics from Ningbo Office for Port Affairs and Smuggling Combating, in the first ten months of 2015, Ningbo Customs received 3.2056 integrated clearance documents, and Ningbo Customs and Ningbo Bureau of Inspection and Quarantine completed 7230 declarations, 9546 inspections and 100,629 clearances
