A few days ago, the world's largest integrated photovoltaic construction project in Hangzhou Bay New Zone, the second phase of the SAIC distributed photovoltaic project, started construction. The project adopts the operation mode of “spontaneous self-use, surplus electricity access, nearby consumption, power grid adjustment”, and it is expected to be put into production in September 2020. After the project is completed, it is expected to achieve 85 million kWh of photovoltaic power generation per year, and solve 45% of the electricity consumption of SAIC Volkswagen Ningbo Branch.

According to relevant departments of Hangzhou Bay New Zone, the distributed photovoltaic power generation in the new district from January to June 2020 totaled 144.2516 million kWh, a year-on-year increase of 19.03%. The total distributed photovoltaic power generation ranked first in the city.

As the first distributed photovoltaic online control demonstration area in China, Hangzhou Bay New Zone continues to promote the construction of distributed power generation projects. Not only has it issued relevant policies before, it has allocated 1.3 million yuan for distributed power generation subsidies every year, but it has also innovated and upgraded its photovoltaic management model. Internally realize business process reengineering and improve work efficiency; externally realize the upgrading of consulting services and expand the comprehensive energy market.

At the same time, the new zone fully applied the three-dimensional modeling of UAV aerial roofs, used big data algorithms, merged geographic information, meteorological information, and power grid information to draw a map of visual roof resources and planned 92 ring sites as socket access to form socket-type power grid access, and also established a star rating photovoltaic resource table to provide a solid foundation for accurate assessment of photovoltaic resources in the jurisdiction area.

According to the relevant person in charge of the power supply department of Hangzhou Bay New Zone, 2,627 roofs in the new district have been included in digital management. Up to now, the grid-connected capacity of photovoltaic power generation in the new area is 292.05 million kilowatts, exceeding the construction of the first batch of distributed photovoltaic demonstration areas in the country
