Enterprises in Yinzhou District bloom

At the promoting meeting for the "Made in China 2025" pilot city held on October 8, President Xie Shicai of Bowei Group delivered a speech on behalf of the local enterprises and proposed to strengthen the technological and manufacturing innovation for building the 4.0 intelligent enterprises and the R&D Base of China New Alloy Materials.

Ningbo becomes the first "Made in China 2025" pilot city mainly thanks to its solid foundation of manufacturing industry, clear strategic positioning, in-depth integration of industrialization and information technology, distinctive brand enterprise cultivation, and unique strengths in developing new materials and core manufacturing parts. As the leading district in the transformation development of the manufacturing industry in Ningbo, Yinzhou District boasts a solid economic foundation. In the first eight months of this year, the total turnover of the large-scale enterprises in the district reached 157.57 billion yuan, up by 4.7% over the same period of last year, accounting for 17.2% of the industrial output value of the whole city.

In recent years, Yinzhou District has made great efforts to develop the emerging industries as they are the benchmark of the industrial transformation and upgrading. The steadily developing emerging industries and new types of business have become the new growth point for the manufacturing industry of the district.

Dongmu New Materials Group, a prominent domestic powder metallurgica; machine parts manufacturer, supplies such powder metallurgical parts as the shells of the two inverter gear boxes and those of the two motor terminals. In 2015, thanks to the advanced technologies and high C/P ratio of the new products of the company, including the powder metallurgical parts for VVT/VCT, variable capacity pumps and vacuum pumps, the company achieved a total sales volume of 300 million yuan, up by 56.34% over the same period of the previous year.

Since 2010, Jingcheng Vehicles started the annual "500,000-yuan failure fund" scheme to activate the research and development personnel's passion for innovation. Fortunately, the fund hasn't been used since its launching. So far, the company, which used to be only a small workshop, has developed into the largest manufacturer of the electric rear-view mirror drivers for automobiles in China.

Confronted with the high labor cost, the industrial robots and industrial automation have become a new shortcut for transformation and upgrading other than technological innovation.

At the workshops of Ningbo Fushi Auto Parts Co. Ltd., 300 CNC lathes make it possible to complete the whole process of production and packaging by robotic arms. All the equipment are independently designed and remolded by its own staff, President Dong Aneng of the company proudly announced
